The settlement of Kokkino Nero belongs to the municipality of Ayia and is located on the foothills of the mountain Ossa (Kissavos), on the east coast of the prefecture of Larissa.
Our Hotel
Our hotel has two floors, which consist of seven flats. Each flat has two bedrooms with two beds each, kitchen, bath and WC. Plus the flats are equipped with central heating, and meet with all the specifications of the EOT (Hellenic organization of tourism) for high quality services.
In an environment with exceptional natural beauty, amongst fruit-bearing trees and very tall maple trees, our flats are equipped with: telephone, TV, and a few household appliances (refrigerator, small cooking devise etc.). Our hotel also offers a warm bar in the reception.
The region
You can use our hotel as your base for discovering the unique natural beauty of the area such as the canyon of Kalypsos with its three beautiful waterfalls and the forest with its towering oak trees. Hike to the Byzantine Bridge, quench your thirst from the healing spring of Kokkino nero, swim in the crystal clear beaches in the area (tsiligiorgos, plateia ammos, koutsoupia).Visit the post-Byzantine monastery of Agiou Dimitriou (Konomeio) built on a beautiful landscape above the village of Karitsa.
For more active visitors, there is an extreme sports agency where you can take part in canyoning along the waterfalls of Kalipsos, rafting on the Pineios river, canoeing and trekking.
Our hotel is open all year tound. you can spend wonderful weekends here, enjoying the unique tranquility the area offers.
If you enjoy hutnig, you can use our hotel as a base for your hunting adventures dyring autumn and winter. The prey thea area offers are partridge, pheasant, woodcock, deer, hare and wild boar.
